The new
trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected
Journey, the first of three Hobbit movies, instantly gives us a much
stronger feel of what the movie is going to be like, and I must say this is the
first time I have felt excited for the film. The earlier trailers just sort of
made me feel like it was going to be a slapstick comedy, however this new
trailer has a very epic feel too it. I´m still disappointed Guillermo Del Toro
is not directing anymore as it would have made the films distance themselves
more from the style of The Lord of the
Rings, however from this trailer I can tell that it will not just be three
more LOTR films. From what I can tell from this trailer, this new trilogy will
be more a fun adventure fantasy film, rather then the dark, hopeless mood of
LOTR. That’s it not to say this film wont´ have its dark moments, Gollum is as
creepy as ever and Gandalf even says he is scared, but this still looks fun
rather then sad. I have not read the book, but now I am looking forward to
seeing the film in December! What do you think of the trailer? Can´t wait to
